A Walk in Fashion

Compared with photography which is an instant record of reality, illustration is a relatively slow and more subjective form of observation and expression. No matter how fast the world goes, the artistic expressiveness of illustration in fashion has always been irreplaceable.
In this section, we are joined by GARY TU, a genius who renders the enchantment of women through watercolor; OHGUSHI, who uses traditional Japanese tools of brush pen and ink to depict the beauty of women in combination with innovative techniques; Samantha Hahn, who can precisely imitate the posture and expression of fashion models in her paintings, Nina Edwards, a Taiwanese-American illustrator who embodies the values of Chinese and Western cultures; LIZARD, who deconstructs the various charms and styles of women in virtuality and reality; and Seungwon Hong, his work themed male fashion has stood out in the world of fashion illustration. How do illustrators from different countries and with various styles capture the ever-changing fashion figures on the street or the runway vividly with their painting brushes? Does it give a glimpse into the unchanging and identical nature of fashion? It's all worth slowing down our steps to be savored.
