擅於結合自己的視覺養成與生命經驗，帶領觀眾凝視生命的重要命題 ——1981 年出生的台灣藝術家楊依香將於路由藝術展出睽違多時的個展：「視微症」。藝術家引用又稱愛麗絲夢遊仙境症的罕見精神疾病、及其時間與視覺感知扭曲的病徵，形容成為母親後被孩子的世界填滿的生活，展出一系列環繞著「母親的日常」的全新創作。
藝術家如何將宛若喝下「喝我藥水」後、身不由己 的親職歷險，投射在畫布上? 隨著楊依香在畫中安置的童話與大眾文化符碼，觀者得以找到奇幻故事裡的指向——「孩子永遠是母親的靈感」藝術家如此說著。
Born in 1981, Taiwanese artist Yang Yi-Shiang joints her passion for literature, aesthetics, and life experience to create works that lead the audience to gaze at life. She titled this solo exhibition "Alice in Wonderland Syndrome," a rare neurological disorder characterized by distortions of visual perception and experience of time, making a parallel between Lewis Carroll's classic fantasy novel and her adventure as a mother.
When parenting becomes a priority and tales and toys are daily necessities, how does one distinguish childhood from adulthood or see things in proportion? By inviting fairy tale prototypes that we are all familiar with onto her imaginary stage, Yang Yi-Shiang reflects her adventure in parenthood and depicts a wide spectrum of imagination and emotions on the canvas. “Children are always going to be a mother's inspiration.” Yang Yi-Shiang said.
